  • Be concise: don't waste their time nor yours. Time is life not only money. You'll often be ignored if you are not concise.
  • Be your authentic self. Don't try to impress anyone.
  • Be humble and ready to learn from them as well.
  • Offer concrete solutions to the problem/issue being discussed.
  • Be at ease with answering hard questions.
  • Keep it short and simple if you want their attention.
  • Don't mix work with feelings if you want to be taken seriously.
  • Get to the point.
  • Have a resolution plan if you want a better response from them.
  • Don't come to them to solve your problems.
